20 Things I’m Thankful For

Hi there! Since Thanksgiving is in a few days here in the U.S., I thought that I would share with you guys what I am thankful for. I just want to preface this by saying that this is not the only time of the year I give thanks, however, the upcoming holiday seemed like an appropriate time for this post. Every night, as I’m falling asleep, I try to name at least five things I am grateful for (even if my day wasn’t that great and even if they’re silly things). I find that this helps me to keep things in perspective and forces me to think more optimistically (If you don’t already do it, try it…it works wonders!). But I digress–let’s get into the post!

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. Faith
  4. Good food (especially pizza!)
  5. Work
  6. A roof over my head
  7. Music
  8. TV/Netflix
  9. My car
  10. Physical health
  11. Medication
  12. Laughter
  13. Lazy days
  14. Hockey
  15. Therapy
  16. Traveling
  17. Sarcasm
  18. Sunny days
  19. Sweatpants
  20. My blog!

The last one is so corny but so true. Over the last few months, I have found a passion that I never knew I had and I’ve met some incredible people along the way. Thank you all for going on this journey with me!

What are some things you are thankful for? Let me know in the comment section below!

  1. It’s a good habit to count your blessings. It does make me feel more optimistic about life. Right now, I’m grateful for my husband, my dad, my friends, and my faith. I’m also thankful for this cup of tea I’m drinking, my blog, and the joy of connecting with other bloggers. Thank you also for following us on our journey. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
